What happened
The Icelandic event opened with a presentation of the project by the school's Erasmus+ coordination: slides and videos from the six mobilities, the objectives of each one, and the link between diversity, inclusion and the school's motto. Several students then described their experience and answered questions from the audience, mostly about the activities in each country and the challenge of presenting in English. The screening of the short film about Max's journey through Europe followed, then refreshments and informal discussions. The project had already been presented to the whole staff at the first meeting of the school year, on 14 August.

What participants took away
A short paper survey asked how interesting and relevant people found the project, whether they liked the film and whether Max's story was inspiring for young people. The audience liked the film and saw many opportunities in the platform, shown that evening in a version that was not yet the latest. Parents and former teachers stressed the openness the mobilities gave the students, and kind messages arrived after the event. What the students remember most is friendship across cultures and how much young people in Europe have in common.
