Multiplier events

Six public events, one per partner country, to present the project and its results to schools, families, older people, local councillors and the press, from April to September 2026.

Young-senior gatherings with registration have their own page: the intergenerational events

The Spanish event took place in two parts. On 29 April, the school ran a stand at the plurilingual education fair organised by the University of Córdoba and the provincial coordination for plurilingual education: poster, roll-ups, slideshow and memorabilia from the mobilities, with the whole team acting as presenters from 9.30 am to 2 pm. On 5 May, for Europe Day, the school gathered its community in its assembly hall, where the February 2025 mobility had taken place: project presentation, then student presentations about each mobility with their visual supports.

    Report published

    May 27, 2026 · Golden Theatre, Palermo, during the school's end-of-year show

    about 100 participants

The Italian event took place at the Golden Theatre in Palermo, during the end-of-year show the school organises every year with another school of the city: a large and varied audience, in an informal setting. After the welcome address by the school leadership and the project coordination, a group of students who had taken part in the mobilities came on stage to share the activities carried out with the partner schools, the people they met and life in the host countries, and above all what the experience left them: greater self-confidence, more confident English, a deeper awareness of inclusion and diversity, new friendships across Europe.

The Icelandic event opened with a presentation of the project by the school's Erasmus+ coordination: slides and videos from the six mobilities, the objectives of each one, and the link between diversity, inclusion and the school's motto. Several students then described their experience and answered questions from the audience, mostly about the activities in each country and the challenge of presenting in English. The screening of the short film about Max's journey through Europe followed, then refreshments and informal discussions. The project had already been presented to the whole staff at the first meeting of the school year, on 14 August.

The project's closing evening was held in the council chamber of Tourcoing City Hall, a venue chosen for its symbolic value as a place of debate and civic engagement. After the welcome speeches by the school's headteacher and the regional delegate for European and international relations, round tables brought together students, teachers, senior residents and project partners to look back on two years of workshops and encounters. The evening continued with the premiere of the final version of the short film, the presentation of the intergenerational platform and stands to discover the project's tools (platform, intergenerational guide, Quizlet), before a friendly get-together.
